In accordance with Meta Platform rules and global privacy principles, RelayDM provides complete control over your data. Follow the instructions below to disconnect your account, revoke permissions, or request full data erasure.

METHOD 01

Disconnect in RelayDM

Log in to your RelayDM account and navigate to Integrations. Locate your connected Instagram account and click Disconnect.

  • Permanently deletes stored OAuth access tokens server-side.
  • Immediately halts all automated DM processing for that account.
  • Stops all ongoing media synchronization.

METHOD 02

Revoke from Instagram

Revoke RelayDM authorization directly from Meta settings on mobile or web:

  1. Open Instagram and go to your Profile Settings.
  2. Go to Accounts Center or Website permissions.
  3. Select Apps and websites → Active.
  4. Select RelayDM and click Remove.

METHOD 03

Request Full Deletion

To request permanent erasure of your account, workspace, and all associated Instagram records, email our support team directly:

Include your registered email and workspace ID. We verify ownership and confirm deletion within 2 business days.

Scope of Data Erasure & Legal Retention

When a full data deletion request is processed, RelayDM permanently deletes or anonymizes:

Data Deleted:
  • Workspace account details and login credentials
  • Connected Instagram account mappings and tokens
  • Synced Instagram media, Reels, and post IDs
  • Comment text, commenter usernames, and interaction records
  • Configured automations, keyword triggers, and templates
  • Associated click analytics and delivery histories
Limited Exceptions:
  • Invoices, tax records, and transaction receipts are retained as required by financial and tax regulations.
  • Aggregated, non-identifiable usage counters retained for system capacity accounting.
  • Data independently stored by Meta, Razorpay, or Stripe is governed by their respective privacy terms and must be managed directly with those services.

META PLATFORM INTEGRATIONRelayDM implements Meta’s official Data Deletion Request callback URL. When you remove RelayDM through your Facebook or Instagram App settings, Meta transmits a secure server-to-server request to our endpoint.

How Meta Callback Requests Work

When Meta notifies our callback endpoint (/api/public/meta/data-deletion), RelayDM automatically initiates account deauthorization, deletes active credentials for the specified user ID, logs a compliance event, and generates a unique confirmation code.
